Skogrand PR Solutions is a Minneapolis PR firm serving public relations in Minneapolis and surrounding cities and states. Before Brant Skogrand founded Skogrand PR Solutions he gained experience and expertise from working on both the corporate and the agency side of public relations. Today Brant has been a part of the Minneapolis public relations field for more than 25 years.

Brant previously was vice president of public relations at Rocket55, a Minneapolis digital marketing agency. He secured media coverage for many clients, ranging from a residential real estate company to a chain of Spanish immersion child care centers.

He also was a vice president at Risdall Public Relations, a Minneapolis PR firm. His clients included a Minnesota-based credit union, an assisted living provider, a medical pharmacy benefit management company and more.

Prior to joining Risdall Public Relations in 2008, Brant worked nearly four years as a senior media relations specialist at Thrivent Financial for Lutherans. While there, he provided media relations expertise and spokesperson training as well as public relations counseling, planning, implementation and evaluation. Brant obtained media exposure for management and financial office teams. A campaign that he worked on to promote Thrivent Financial’s retirement solutions won two PRSA Silver Anvil Awards in 2008. In addition, Brant built Thrivent Financial’s first social media presence.

Previously in Brant’s Minneapolis PR career, he worked for Thomson Reuters, where he edited employee publications, developed content for the employee intranet and promoted product launches. Brant’s earlier Minnesota public relations agency experience included working at Tunheim Partners. In his first job, Brant worked with both executives and field personnel on media relations at The Musicland Group.
